Romantic Milo moment with Dan and Ayre.
Lori a local performance artist.
Pinky and his girl from Acme Art Co.
My old house mates from 50 King Ave, Stephanie my ex-neighbor and best friend for the year, Kelsey and Emily, the downstairs neighbors who supplied the beer and social life, and Emily's brother Matt. Special thanks to these guys and Anthony, Steph's Bo, for hanging out, and using their computers. I am using Kelsey's computer now because mine is crap! They were there for the creation of the first half of the show while battling our evil crazy landlord for my small NY style apt. Too small with too many problems, but the house had and has a lot of love to give all of us!
The English Throne at Milo after a few glasses of wine.

Salvador (my best friend), me, and Stefan.
Matt, Kelsey, and Stephanie.
Patric, a local poet and Art friend from The Ravari Room.
Mark Belletini, Artist and Minister and not so stuffy at the bars!
Stephanie and myself, we kinda match the paintings, how weird?
Brad, Dan, and Joshua, the three Artistas!

Well, I want to thank all the people who helped me put on this show. I feel fortunate to create for a year and then show 26 paintings at the end of the June 2005 to June 2006. I have to thank Julia Cameron and her book "The Artist's Way", The Creator, The Muse, and the Artists in Columbus and New York City who supported and encouraged me through this process. Special thanks to Lori Abel and her Art network for the bags of food when times were rough, even while working 40 Hrs per week. These are crazy times we live in. So to any other Artist out there, keep believing in your work and produce, produce, produce! and your Art will come Alive! I personally haven't felt better in my life and would like to thank Brad and Dan again for encouraging me to show. That's all she wrote, what an amazing journey it has been....

Joshua 2006 "Language of Light Show"
Bradley Strout, Dan Ferlan, and Joshua Seligman

Hey Folks! These are the photos from my reception for the Language of Light Show on June 30th, 2006. The show runs from July 1-28th at the Milo Arts Community on 3rd and Cleveland Ave. in Columbus, OH or as a fashionista put it, in the C.O. Kinda like that, special thanks go to Matt from Acme Art Co. for preparing the photos for the Blog, and Rick, Lisa, Kimberly, and Eric at Milo for all their help. They really went out of their way to help an up and coming Artist put on an amazing show. I recommend every Artist to show there.

At the reception, I wanted to thank Bradley and Dan for their continued support, and Dan for helping me hang the show. Special thanks to Brad for believing in me and bringing Chad Tooker, the Curator of BoMA - Bar of Modern Art, which will be opening here in the C.O. shortly, to my opening. It is a new national Art venue for the U.S. Other special happenings were around 50 people showed up throughout the evening and at one time I counted 35 friends and aquaintences. It was a lot of work and a lot of fun to share this last year of my Art life with everyone! And now more photos....
